Hi Paul, i havent responded to one of your posts before so welcome to the board. [img]smile.gif[/img]
I dont know whether or not anyone has mentioned this to you, but this board has a great search facility, if you use that and search for information on practicing, i know alot of really helpful stuff has been said on the topic in the past.
There was some discussion on favourite drum books, practice routines, and i think the use of goal setting and so on, other motivational ideas have also come up, good luck!
You'll find alot of general agreement on this topic, but you'll also find some pretty adamant dis-agreement when discussing practicing (for example some amongst us are very much into a 'training' type approach, others are not - both seem to get good results - just listen to their audio clips when posted!), in end, everyone does what works for them, and just tries to refine their methods as they go on.
