Chris,
On yours, here - I much liked
what you did. It was right for
the music and you repeated the
phrases. I really liked that.
That's what I was talking about
in the other thread. This is
something that you can use and
promote yourself with.
It's all about contributing.
Well-done.

Johnny,
Very nice. You are really
doing exactly what you are
supposed to do.
These worship situations
are so ideal for young drum-
mers and you are showing us
that in spades.
It's the discipline that I
like - supporting the tunes.
I especially liked the Misty.
Play on!

Thanks, that was recorded in (ouch) 1999, but I had been playing regularly with that band so it made for a nice recording.
The pianist is actually a great bass player too! He lives up in Boston now with his wife and child and teaches at the Berklee College of Music, and various other schools up there.
John Funkhouser is his name. He's a great musician and leader !!!!
We, did have a Dave Brubeck odd meter thing happening but we also played some headbanging traks, some Eliane Elias type tunes where I would solo over a bunch of hits (tuttie) as well as some Ornette type heads.
I didn't realize that was in 5. I usually play by feel now and don't even count.
thanks for the listen. You are much too kind though ... But, I'll take it
