So I checked out that new pro drum shop by Cafe Cordiale in Sherman Oaks, CA. You can't miss it because it's PURPLE. I must say, I was VERY impressed. The thing it, they have their own line of cymbals 100% hand made and they TOTALLY blew me away. They're called BUZIN and only available at the store. If you're in SoCal, you HAVE TO check them out. I think the place is called Drum Connection. Rumor has it that Marvin "Smitty" Smith bought about 20 Buzin cymbals last week.

I went by. Nice guys; seem pretty dialed in. Not much stuff which is understandable for a shop that size. Didn't have time to check the cymbals but they were telling the Smitty story then as well.

They did have all quality stuff, just high end DW, Pearl and Sonor along with mid level Sonor and Gretsch.

I guess only time will tell if they'll survive. I didn't get a chance to see what their prices were like on anything but I hope they manage to stick around.
