Well after being on this forum for bloody ages I've finally worked out how to rip and post tunes. So here is a random selection of stuff that I've done, in no particular order. Thanks to Pete C for his advice and to Steve for the link to Cdex.

Thanks a lot sashal3 and Danny, much appreciated. That cover of Somebody to Love is for a film thats coming out in the new year for Miramax called "Ella Enchanted" and was recorded at Abbey Rd. The lead vocal funnily enough is only a guide track sung by my mate who produced the track. The leading lady will be singing on the finished version.

Cheers Peter and once again, thanks for your advice on posting. Windows NT pro comes with ftp functionality, so no need download cute ftp or any other prog - nice!
Drumming isn't a job to me it's a pleasure and a joy and whether in the studio or live, big band, jazz or pop it's a chance to express yourself, make (hopefully!) good music that will in turn make the listener smile. Simple as that.... crappy functions accepted of course! [img]wink.gif[/img]

Very impressive on the Who's Blue. Great touch on your ride cymbal. You drive the band very well, but the swing still dances....
Nice sounding drums as well. What brand do you play?
Also, how old are you, and how long have you been playing?
Hi Benny and cheers for the comments. I'm now 30 and that track was recorded in around 98/99 I think. The ride is a 22" Jack DeJohnette mini bell ride, I love it! It's really thin and attracts some funny comments from people who see it wobbling as I play it. What a beautiful sounding cymbal though.
The drums were believe it or not the Arbiter one lug tuning kits. I got given them to endorse for a while and they were very handy and easy to use. I now use my Ludwig Super Classics.

Without wishing to put the company down as the drums are very nice to play and record very well, my relationship with Arbiter sort of faded. I think that they could have made more of an effort with their artists... seeing as it's us who are out there playing the gear and being seen with it.like the Arbiter concept.
