To what degree may we use the video for instructio

I would like to know to what degree we may use the video for instruction. I am the percussion intructor at Syncopated Studios, and in certain cases I would like to refer to your rudimentary techniques during instruction. However, if the video is exclusively for private use, I will not violate your copyright laws. Thank you!
