Just wondering if any of you guys have come across this nifty little program?
I came across it recently searching the net for vinnie MP3's its free and ive had no hackers attacks yet!!

Jeez guys just do a search on there for 'Weckl' i did one last night and i tbrought back 300 mp3 results a lot of this was clinic footage,Live bootlegs of the band very impressive!

I imagine a simple google search should take you to a link for this awesome program.. it was only a 752KB Download as well go check it out!

clinic and band footage......sounds cool. i searched for WinMX but it would let me download it. i search for weckl etc on morpheus but dont get much back.......

how do i get some of this footage?

mmmm WinMX has been available for awhile, their servers kinda suck but they have alot of media footage(especially MP3's), just in case everyone isn't on the same page u can download that Peer to Peer Proggram at Download.com.

other alternatives I suggest [img]wink.gif[/img] would be:

-Direct Connect
-mIRC(its abit difficult to understand, the fortmat itself but once u get a hang of it, you're in HEAVEN!)

I agree with bozzio about the kinda duff servers but i stuck with it heres what i downloaded this afternoon.....sit tight........

1,Chick Corea,Live w/Vinnie... yes that akoustic band show from 92!
2,Chick Corea Elektic Live from Madrid 1986

3,Some Live Weckl Band tracks recorded from Yoshi's(Kinda low quality but whos complaining when its free!)
4, And ive just downloaded a copy of Chick Corea Elektric Bands First Gig (From Elarios) which i believe is sold at Audiophile for $35 !!

And i dont feel guilty because the simple fact is its just online file trading which at least keeps the likes of GAMDEN AWAY!!!

PS-btw could u search and download sum JoJo Mayer stuff? im dying here trying to find everything listed on his "RESUME"(at his site)but my attemps have been pretty much futile [img]frown.gif[/img]

Used to use it all the time...dial-up time is a joke (65 min a song) compared to 4 min on cable. Yes...it's been around for years along with that other one, not Napster. WinMx is better. Great way to get a song collection when doing a cover gig. I maxed out all the solos--mostly stuff we all have, compiled from each drummer's solo CD's.
Type in VIRGIL DONATI and you get 18 uploaded responses...stuff from his Power Drumming video, a live Planet X solo...all stuff you can get on CD or video. Very rarely is there a "gem" any real fan wouldn't already have. Vinnie got 12 responses. There's a 20 min Vinnie clinic I'm downloading now--almost guarantee it's a cropped version of the classic clinic traded from '98.
