Has anyone heard this band live? If so, give an opinion. I've heard a couple studio songs and they sounded pretty good. I'm going to be checking them out, as they will be opening for the Frank Gambale Trio w/ monster drummer Joel Taylor.

Taylor SMOKES!!! Saw him recently w/Allen Holdsworth--reminded me off a cross between Williams & Gadd--gotta love a guy who takes off his shoes during a tune and keeps it all together. Don't ask me why he shed the shoes.

Cool!!! I like Joel's playing a lot. Especially on Jeff Richman's stuff. Man, I'd give a non-essential organ just to see ANYBODY doing "patting juba" with Holdsworth. Have you seen the "Live at the Galaxy" DVD? If so, is it good?

The Galaxy vid SA-MOKES...Taylor's a mamma-jamma [in 'Bama ] - kix some maja boo-tay on there [underrated, but not for long]...& Carpenter cuts a rug [trio; altho it's nice to hear a keyboard player's underlying chords/comping underneath all that mayhem ]
Can you say, "mini-disc or mini-cassette?!"
