I just wanted to say hi as a new member here.
Love the mp3's, great standard of players here!
Steve Holmes playing is really inspiring me at the moment, awesome player. I only discovered him and this site last night through Josiah, (hi josiah if you read this), who I know from another forum. Josiah made a thread about blushdas, which brought them to my attention, so I googled, and found steve's clip about blushdas. And here I am
I would love to know how long it took steve to get the blushda together, as I really want to as well, but finding it rather awkward to get up to speed compared to easier things like flam accents.
Anyway, I look forward to chatting to you guys

Hello beats. Oh, I've been playing for about 20+ years. Never really got out of the function scene but that keeps the bills paid
To give you a very good idea of the style of music and drumming that really turns me on, here's a little sound bite of the kind of R&B and drumming that I listen to a lot of,( it's not me, but currently what I'm trying to develop in my own playing )
