Janie, Terry, Donna, Jan, Sharon, Caryn, Nic & Laurie (hope I haven't missed anyone out) Thanks so very much for sharing your Dark Light Tour experiences, for the fabulous photos and especially for doing it in a way that made me feel included not excluded - ahh I know what I'm trying to say but finding it hard to get the words out. Glad you enjoyed them Barb I hope that very soon Darren gets to do that tour in Australia so you can experience at first hand the pleasure we've all been so lucky to have had recently

It was a pleasure Barb. I really hope that all of you Aussies get to see him cos it's well worth it. Also, you'll have the added pleasure of knowing that you won't have to contend with certain elements over there, you lucky, lucky ppl! LOL

Thanks Barb, though I don't think I could put this experience properly into words. There was so much to take in, with the mix of visuals, Darren's performance, and that VOICE! He sounded better than ever. I would have loved to see it a second time to grasp more of what it was about.
What surprised me most was the 50/50 split between SG and Darren's solo work. I had expected it to solely concentrate on promoting TTATS, but there was more of a story to it than that. For all that Darren says in interviews that he's moved on musically now, and that he couldn't write SG again, I think he is far prouder of that time and their achievements than he will ever let on. It's cool to diss SG, so he goes with the flow. To be honest, BMSM was probably one of my highlights of the night...but did anyone actually miss the guitars on that and some of the other tracks? Cos I did.
