Okay, I’ve decided it’s time I came out of lurkdom on this forum. It’s been ages since I posted but I still read all the posts and have been tempted so many times to post replies but then I mislaid my password and the time went. Found it again recently though. Anyway, enough of this garble.

What I really wanted to say was that I’m glad the discussion about the ‘silence’ was left to stand on the FCPF because apart from being a really good and honest concerned discussion, it wasn’t negative in any way. As I said on there, I don’t see that concern for someone you care about should be seen as negative.

I don’t expect to see messages from Darren all the time, far from it but I do think complete silence is just going to fuel the rumours and unrest even more. I can’t understand either why there hasn’t been another Ezine since the first day of the tour, which is when the last one was issued. There must be lots of stories, funny (hilarious even) and otherwise, photos, both onstage and offstage and info about the tour, which I felt went really well btw considering Darren had only had a minor hit in this country with Pop!ular. What happened to all the pics which Troi was taking for instance?

I can’t understand why some members of the FC are happy to pay just for the forum, after all there are a lot of DH forums about and you don’t have to pay for the privilege of being a member of any of them. I know a lot of people have made friends through the FC forum, I have myself but to be honest the same people frequent most of the other forums anyway so that argument is lost, in my opinion.

I agree with you Janie when you say

It's like this whole instant gratification thing where as soon as people have something, they always want more and more in a quicker time frame.'

I’ve said the same thing to people who seem to expect Darren to be undertaking tours and releasing albums and singles every five minutes. It aint gonna happen. I would rather Darren took 2/3 years and produced another TTATS than got pushed into going into the studio to produce something he wasn’t entirely happy with [img]smile.gif[/img]
