hi bronia77
its exciting isn't it? I agree with gus and charlie c, Live in Japan IS a must, if you can get it. I also highly recommend the first record, The Runaways, and the second, Queens of Noise. The Best of compilation is just a small taste!!
My neice recently returned from Japan with a cd version of The Runaways for me and it still rocks my world after some 24 yrs!! My niece is 20, she was curious about my music taste so she bought herself a copy of the Best of and is now a fan as well!!
So GIRLS, look out, new fans are coming at ya hard and fast, so how about that reunion gig and PLEASE film it for us poor suckers who live a million miles away but love you still???!!!
have fun exploring bronia!!

A reunion would be AWESOME relish
The Runaways would take the world by storm down under, up over and every place in between. IMO

I didn't discover the Runaways until 1986. The first songs of theirs I heard were "You're Too Possessive", "I Love Playin' With Fire", "Don't Abuse Me", and "Cherry Bomb" performed by Joan Jett on her first four albums. It took me awhile to figure out I should check into her first band and I wasn't dissappointed. Those girls can ROCK! If you still have a turntable don't forget to get a vinyl copy of 'Waitin' For The Night' with gems like "Little Sister", "Gotta Get Out Tonight", "School Days" and "Trash Can Murders".
