And they show a lot of clips of different things, they talk a lot about police and punk conflicts. Its actually pretty good.
I was wondering if any body on here has a news clipping or some news footage of the media discriminating against punk rockers. I'm doing a documentary on the punk movement for school and it would be a huge favor.

can you post up a link to the old archives on there or the library?
rent the sex pistols documentary "the filth and the fury". It came out last year and you can find everything you need there. England in the late 70's gave you all the descrimination you can handle. Overall, If you can make it through all the thick accents, the movie was very good.

the current Varla issue has some info from black flag 1st 4 years but it's mostly about them and not "punk"...
as for movies that have info of the "punk movement" try "decline of the western civilization" and "surburbia" both from penelope spheeris "surburbia" is more entertainment w/truth tied in and "decline" is a documentary of the period with bands of that time...
