As far as hotels go, the Ramada probably is the cheapest place anywhere near Bogart's. The Vernon Manor is a little closer, but will run you $150 a night. The only other close options would be downtown, and those would easily be $100+. You could possibly get something on Priceline or Hotwire cheaper a day or two before...
As far as near the club, I am pretty sure Sudsy Malone's is closed again. Top Cat's is down the street from Bogart's (like 3 blocks north on Vine Street). That night, The Erotics are playing with a couple local bands that I know. The Erotics may not be the thing for many folks on here. They are a mix of punk with a hint of glam (not too much...a little eyeliner, no lipstick!). But if you wanna go somewhere cool until the bars close, that's probably your best bet.
Other places include the Holy Grail (as mentioned), which is around the corner from Bogarts. Also, Martino's is across the street from Bogarts. Excellent Italian food, as long as you can stand being surrounded by Pittsburgh Steelers memorabilia. I remember seeing Charlie outside the Holy Grail checking out the menu the last time SD played here. Not sure how late those bars stay open during the week. Alot of places down there close early because it's not the greatest neighborhood. There's also a LaRosa's Pizza down the street too, if you wanna try some excellent local pizza.
Hope that answers a few questions. If anyone has more questions, I'll do my best to answer. I've been going to Bogart's for close to 20 years now. I'll be there on Wednesday as well.

Yes, they are sold out. My friend tried to buy one a few days ago and couldn't get one.
