This album saved me. I was going thru a real rough time when this came out. Probably the best record of the 90s, but I usually see SD fans underrating it.

Anyway, this record is what it's all about to me. Awesome.

i second that. it's the one album that always makes me feel alive when i drift into meaningless life territory. it's like a wake-up call.

I will never forget bringing that CD home for the first time the day it went on sale. Up until that point, I had only heard "I was wrong" on kroq so I popped that bad boy in my stereo and as soon as the opening measures of "Dear Lover" came on, I was fucking hooked.

Cool true story: my moms is the biggest Rolling Stones fan you've ever seen. When she heard the version of Under My Thumb on WLWHWT she immediatelly picked up all of SD's CDs.

I would have to say that "I was wrong" is by far and away the worst song on that album. Thats saying quite a bit because i do like the song, especially the message.

Maybe its just cause they played it out, but man the rest of that album is pretty darn good.
