I am going to be out in LA in two weeks. I know a bunch of you guys are from that area. I just wanted to know what place might be cool to check out a show or two.

check out LAWeekly.com or OCWeekly.com - pretty comprhensive list of shows - or the HOB website. If its the venue you're interested in, there's tons of history with alot of the Hollywood clubs but most are shit holes - HOB is hard to beat.
