Conservative punk is just a way for michael graves to try to get back into some kind of spotlight, since he got the boot from the misfits so long ago.

A popular nickname for racist skinheads is "Young Republicans". They have even held bonehead gatherings under this nickname. I am always shocked and amased at how many young conservatives are being bred nowadays.

<font size="2" face="verdana, arial">Ok I had to comment on this. I consider myself more of a libertarian but libertarians do have many views that lean more to the right. The main one libertarian view that I believe in the most, the main reason I consider myself to be best associated with libertarians, and also a view that many conservatives share, is the idea of a limited role of government.

When is it that the big government ideals of the left became so punk rock?

I personally feel that the anti-establishment means the desire for change in the government. Punk reflects the anger at the way things aren't changing for the better of the people. For the most part government has always and continues to benefit the rich and leave the poor in the gutter.

The word liberal means "# Not limited to or by established, traditional, orthodox, or authoritarian attitudes, views, or dogmas; free from bigotry.
    # Favoring proposals for reform, open to new ideas for progress, and tolerant of the ideas and behavior of others; broad-minded."

    Seems to match perfectly.
