As this subject was started elsewhere I thought it could be continued here.
Well I enjoyed having this band around. Sorry But for me and the girlfriend during the 80's they were the best band around. Yeah there were others but we went to see Wrathchild whenever they played near to us.
I got to be friends with the band apart from Lance.
I got to sing with the band on a couple of occasions and spent many a pissed up night chatting with Eddie and Marc at Edwards No8.

I will agree with you that Eddie Starr is a funny guy. When I got all miffed with him in Evesham, it was hard to keep a straight face. He used to have this mad mate called Lamp who could push a whole tent peg up his nose. There is a photo of it in one of the Slags mags.

Nice to see here someone who values "Delirium". For me it's also the best album of the band and it has had a huge influence on me through the years... Of course I got Wrathchild's whole discography plus bootlegs and lotsa stuff and for me it's still my favourite band together with Diamond Rexx (beware the site http://www.diamondrexx.net is slowly rexxerecting... check it out). I couldn't live without those two bands in my life. They have meant and still mean all what I am in music and attitude. This kinda dark and dangerous sleazy to the max will live forever! Shame that Wrathchild won't come back but Diamond Rexx will do soon and Steevi's Tigertailz is about to release new stuff... Hail to all of us who are approachin' our 40's but are still true to what we have always loved.
BTW, I recently got that Wrathchild DVD live in England 1984 released in Canada this year to substitute my old VHS and I am happy. The quality is great! Still dreaming that they will come back again one day!

No sign that they will ever return?
Rocky Shades had a massive ego.An ego and I got to experience at 1st hand while queing to meet Twisted Sister at Birmingham Odeon. Rocky didn't shut up the whole time we were there. And not long after bumped into the Wrath guys again at a Hanoi Gig in Birmingham. Again people were all over 'em and treating 'em as the Rockstars they should of been/were. Overshadowed Hanoi for a while before Hanoi hit the stage.
Now a year or so later they supported Wasp and Rocky was ready to deck Blackie Lawless at the Birmingham gig for mouthing off about Wrathchild. I have the said words on a recording. But what I'm trying to say is big ego or not, I enjoyed the time they were around and all the stuff they put out I thought was great. The stage show was always great and always enjoyed Rocky's in between song banter.
