OK, serious topic with regards Glitzinet

Okay guys... we all remember wot happened when the original board died n' this one was re-born... it all had to be started afresh, now... if we do re-birth a new board, how pissed would peeps be at a new start??? It could be possible to move topics from here to a new board, I just want to get people's opinions on how they'd feel @ a new 'new' board???

Is it a difficult task to move the topics over?
There could be a few pissed at losing their postings totals?!?!?! Could these be transfered over?

Getting a better board would be great,
as far as topics, can this one still exist as kind of a ghost board???
maybe with a link to the new one, this way topics will still come up in web searches and will not be lost completly....

I'm with GlitterNStarz here.
It would be great to have our names just transfered over. As for the topics...I could care less. I mean...what's wrong with starting over? To me it would be riduculous to not move the board...just because someone wants to keep topics...you know the more important topics like the FRUITY topic...haha... C'mon...Change is good....I mean come on...if there wasn't change...people would still be wearing zebra prints....Oh my bad...some still do....HAHAHAHA!

I agree with changing the Board
The only reason I mentioned the Topics is,

Alot of obscure bands get posted here
Pics, Links, and whatnot, these come up in internet searched,
and they may be the only hit that comes up..
that is what I meant when asked if the old board can still exist even if not used.....

I'm open to a change. Not so fussed about keeping the threads, but keeping the same user name would be excellent. Like Gregs idea of some kind of shadow board as well.

I'm certain membership details/post counts/star ratings would be out of Spicey's control. That's a Hostboard thing, not the forum admin. Everyone would just need to set up a new account from scratch, wherever it goes.

Got no problems with moving again. I'm sure we can find stuff to get things moving. We always do. You can't please everyone though, so be prepared for the inevitable moaning, lol.
