he recorded a solo demo called The Blue Movie. really good stuff but not in the vein of anything he has done before. Parts of it remind me of Duran Duran. he also was in the running to be the singer in velvet revolver.

1) wasn't he also in the band Law and Order?
2) I loved the movie, esp. when the little kid runs after him, shouting his name

Damn shame if he is running trying to be in LA Guns. His solo stuff is some of the best I have heard in years. I found it to be a little bit of a cool version of Savage Garden, to be honest. Very electronic, very dancable at times, and all about getting the ladies! But brilliant stuff, and VERY fresh sounding. I just wish I could find my copy. Damn kids...

actually it was velvet revolver he tried out for not la guns. from what his sister told me he was one of the last three being taken into consideration. in fact the same day she sent the cd to me she said he was leaving to go out to cali and meet with them. i don't think he would have fit though and like Carl mentioned, his solo stuff is awesome. reminds me of duran duran at times and you know how much i love duran duran.
Carl, i know where my copy is, no kids here haha. If you need another copy just yell.
