I flew back from Russia on Aeroflot! If I hadn't been so scared it would have been funny. Get this, The stewardess comes around about 30 min after take off and says "Would you like an extra cushion OR Beetroot soup?" I could either suppliment my wafter thin seat covering and counter the possible onset of DVT or I could have beetroot soup. I could not have both! What an extraordianry rule! You can eat or you can be comfy. You can starve or you can have a numb arse.
I went for the cushion. Beetroot soup is the absolute last thing anyone should be eating on a pressurized (supposedly) aircraft.
