Anyone recall this Ray Zell led Band?
Just found the live tape I did. Got some pic's also from the gig.
I have the vinyl album and the 12" single also.
From memory, I beleive the album was release on the same day as the Babysitters album and also on the same label! I used to play them both back to back. Brilliant at the time!

I remember the name but never heard any of their stuff. I know it was Ray's band but only knew of him thru Kerrang, and Pandora Peroxide.

I moved my copy on over to CD. Oddly enough, it was a battle on eBay between this and The Babysitters that brought me into touch with Buttz. I was trying to get this album, and The Babysitters album, but I had trouble getting the Babysitters one, as somebody was fighting me for it. Guess who? I could only afford one at the time, and it seemed the other person really wanted the Babysitters one, so I let it go. For some reason I offered to make a copy of the Babysitters album for the winner (I think the seller was starting to seem a little questionable), if they never got the album. I had a copy of tape, and I had transfered it to CD. He wrote back and it was Buttz. Pretty crazy, actually. Poor guy, I've been bugging him off and on ever since then.

marionette were the best band in the world for a year.. so we nicked their drummer Pig for a while. They never wanted to headline a gig, never did , and everybody loved them. Ray was the best frontman, and his brother Kev was on the bass...He was the third best bass player....

<font size="4" face="Arial">No, Zell's band was Marionette. The Marionettes (formerly the Screaming Marionettes) were a Goth band. They did the magnificent "Ave Dementia".

Pig's real name was Pig. He was quite big at the time. "Trash on delivery" was everyone's first recording. I think that Pig played for us, as well as Marionette on that album. Stik Wunonim joined us later when his band Bad Detective split. Marionettes' Ray and Kev were Alice Cooper fans, and Jimbo and I were more ..well.."Nolans"y. Hang on,.. Pigs real name was Adam.. Pig.....
Happy days..."T.O.D".. That's a good album. I think that was Rays first album cover design??
