That COF shirt is nothing more than a snot-nosed brat sitting there saying offensive stuff to get noticed. I am not a Manson fan, I like his stuff that is hard and driving, but hate the "mellow/creepy" stuff, but I will admit the guy is actually pretty whimsical.

No Sin, I didnt' get to see them...you talking about the show with like 5 bands?....I wanted to go to that show bigtime....it was only an hourand a half away from me...but I was feeling a bit sick so I didn't make it. DAMN!!!
Next time they come around... which I was told will be in March this year - you have to go. All of those shows always have like 5 bands. When I saw Witchery - there were 5 bands on the tour, plus 3 local bands... we were at the club until 5am and still missed the last two local bands.

Well, from reading "Lords Of Chaos" I agree that not all of them are Satanists. Varg Vikerness just has a huge hard-on for the Pagan writings of Sweden, and has a problem with the Christians for taking the Pagan Gods away, and so forth.
Yes, they all do hate Christians, but the majority of the ones I know are pretty much all for the horned guy. Trust me, I know one Glam guy personally, EVERYBODY else I hang out with are either Death Metal or Black Metal. It really kind of sucks. You can look inside numerous demos and albums and see my name in the thanks lists. Broken Hopes "Grotesque Blessings" being the most recent, and probably the last one.
The one Nu Metal connection I have though is the drummer for Soulfly. We used to be really good friends. He came out of the Death Metal scene around here. No he plays that piss. Killer Martial Artist though.
There's the problem... it's supposed to be about the pagan religion - and you get these young idiots who think it's all about satan. (It is a shame that the Christians got rid of the old pagan ways... just thought I'd be hypocritical for a second).
As for that nu-metal... I think it's garbarge. It seems like they try to see how many times they can say fuck in one song. I think I'm missing the point... or maybe there really isn't one.
I don't care much for death metal. Not so much because of the content. I'm just not into the growling and pig noises. Then again in the beginning it wasn't like that. Then you get some dumb kids who don't know anything ruining it.
I'm starting to sound like an old person - so I'll shut up now.
