hey! back off cradle of filth. I don't know why but i really do love them. They are one of the few bands that can actually calm me down when i get hyper. but hey, that's your opinion and that's cool. honestly, live his voice doesn't sound that good. lotsa studio time for him.

One Black Metal band I've really been getting into is Immortal. A little different to the usual church burning Death Metal stuff.
Someone gave me a copy of "Battles In The North" with the video of Blasshryk on the end.
First thing that grabbed me was the vocals. I don't know how many cigarettes a day the guy must go through to get that voice! He's the Tom Waits of Black Metal!! This really sick and nasty snarl.
Another thing that struck me in the video was that despite the two of them looking very cool and evil, was the absolutely gorgeous scenery of Norway. Mountains, pine trees and rivers running into the crystal clear sea.
Definately the prettiest black metal video you're ever gonna see.

Slayer!! Still the best out and out heavy metal band there is. The first 5 albums are classics thru and thru!
