Hostboard...ARRRGGGHHH!!!

Why is Hostboard so flakey!!! Half the time I come here to browse or post, the response times are terrible. It's a latencyarama.

Proboards.com has a ton more traffic and is way faster. Why don't we switch? just a thought.

I personally think that this place has slowed down. I don't drop by that often now. Everyone has gone elsewhere!!!

I've spent half the day just logging in here for the last couple of days, so a switch would be good in my book.

Don't think it's anything special for this board that it's dead now though. It seems the same everywhere. It's the middle of the summer and there is a heatwave all over Europe and most of America so naturally people spend their days outside..... it will catch on again when it gets colder

Chris ya hit the nail on the head - its quiet because its the holiday season and thats it. Its quiet everywhere. The slowness of the board is another issue but one for Spicey I guess. Still my fave board.

Sorry, only just spotted this post.... been an extremely busy bunny .... I know hostboard has it's moments, but I think all boards do, I shall have a look at the other board system you suggested though.... it's been on the cards to move this for a while, it's just getting it all organised and every page on Glitzine altered, so bare with me [img]smile.gif[/img]
