Why?

Tonight my roommate brought home a dog collar and told me that he was "sooooo cool" and badass. I find myself asking why? Things have gone downhill ever since I moved here, and I just wrote these three. I'm feeling even worse after staying up all night, so I will be double posting a new poem that I'm going to write in a few.

An Ode To Matt Kelly

Have you ever bought anything from ?Lookout Records??
Have you ever been to an underground concert?
Have you ever even been in a fight,
Much less pulled a knife?
Have you ever been beat so badly that you couldn?t see for the day?
Have you ever worn non-designer clothes?
Have you ever felt how cold the brass knuckles are
When you slip them on?
Have you ever had a thought
That didn?t conform to TRL?
Have you ever really lived life?
Then, why are you trying to pretend like you have??
