you wake up early
when the sun
peeks in through my window.
the very first ray
pierces your eyelid
and your brown eyes flutter.
the sound is nowhere near enough
to rouse me from my dream.
I?m dreaming of blue eyes
and blonde hair
the light skin
of a girl that
still listens to tapes
and loves the credits
at the end of movies.
I wake from heaven
into the dark arms
of brown eyes,
your moaning was too much
to sleep through.
my eyes dialate quickly
and focus on you.
I close them again,
roll back over
and go back to sleep.
