Workshop

My brother's girfriend has extended me an invitation to join a writer's workshop that she's a member of. This could be cool, they do readings and are planning on getting an anthology published. There is a problem though, which is the fact that I live in Omaha and they all live in Lincoln. The apparently have weekly meetings, which I would be happy to attend, but between work and my car being such a pile of crap, getting out there is going to prove to be difficult. But all in all, in the long run, I think it could be a good thing.

Do it. Workshops always produce _some_thing good, and I would be very interested to hear what you have to say about it.
