I'm new here so i thought i'd say hi and post a poem...

Impulsive obsessive

Eyes roll in disapproval
So predictable
Like maggots breeding in shit.
Never listen.
Never know.
Never understand.
My train of thought disrupted
Leaves on the line.
Killing time?
Dreaming away the day
Moving along
Strolling roads
Impulsive
Obsessive
Not really thinking.
Day and night
Blurred like filthy rain water,
Flapping flailing arms
To pull myself back up?
Failing again?
But still there is peace here
Away from the crowds.
Still there is solitude
Behind closed eyes.
Still there is hope
Beneath this snotty attitude
- Obnoxious defence.
Let the anger feel its own way
Watch the sky
Watch the floor
Watch the clock
Don?t be late.

Never a day goes by
When I can make sense
Out of these feelings
But when all is figured out
I can die with a smile.

heh.. that's why i've only just posted.. i've been chcking back every coulpe of days for the past two weeks.. but no new posts!! oh well!!! not to worry!

I admit, I don't post much here, as my writing is focused on my 1st book (edits) and the new one I'm writing. If I do any short stories, I'll post them here. I don't do any poetry at the moment.
