sweet
hair trickling off my
fingertips
your eyes engaged with mine
caught
by the movements of your hips
and your hands...so soft upon me
a spring...a fountain. a well of
happiness.
thank you

I am not sure if you intended this, but when I read it, I always paused with the one word lines. That's what caught me. Another thing was the thank you at the end. I am not quite sure if I like it, or not. It just put a weird ending to it...and I was like ummmmm......so, I don't know. If it has a purpose, hell yeah, but if you did it to be bow-tie (cute) *slaps you on the wrist* stop it!

thank you...was not to be cute...this poem was like a letter...or something i really wanted to say to someone...its a thank you to the subject matter..but you're right...it does set things off weird..so maybe it wasn't needed...doesn't matter...w/o the thank you it would look just fine...

could be a real nice ending to a song...a very involved love song..and at the end...the slow jam..and you whispering these words at the end..with that "thank you"....when I think of that..it makes me think of the poetic destruction of sonic youth.
