the way i do it is that I print it out, or write it out... and send it in a letter to myself...and when you get it back in the mail....don't open it...that way, it has the postage mark on it.....and it has the work sealed in it....

the only cheap way to copyright something is to do what the machine face said. in that way, the u.s. postal service has dated the fact that you wrote whatever you wrote at a previous time.
