STAFFING COORDINATOR

Our client, located in a pleasant Main Line community near bus and rail service, and with free parking at their headquarters, has an immediate need for an individual to join a small service team focused on placing healthcare professionals on interim assignments in hospitals, nursing homes, and clinics. Founded 14 years ago and still family-run, the company is a specialized source for behavioral health contractors. These contractors provide care in their specialty on a temporary basis for vacation coverage, maternity leave coverage, unexpected resignation, and so forth. The company has grown to 15 locations around the U.S. and is well known in Eastern Pennsylvania healthcare circles.

The Position

The Staffing Coordinator is a key member of a team that includes a Team Manager, two or three Staffing Coordinators and an Assistant Staffing Coordinator. The selected candidate will work with social workers, psychologists, psychiatrists, as well as mental health professionals and care givers from major medical centers. The Staffing Coordinator?s key responsibility is to process incoming calls from clients requesting mental health contractors. In addition, this person maintains contact with 20-30 professional contractors and may have relations with 10-20 clients. The successful candidate will also have business development responsibility, and will identify and recruit new healthcare contractors. Normal hours are 8:30-5 p.m. Monday to Friday, but a commitment to filling each client?s position will lead the dedicated Staffing Coordinator to devote as much time as required.

Requirements

In addition to an undergraduate degree (or higher level degree) the successful candidate must have up to four years business experience in selling, recruiting, negotiating, customer service, telephone marketing or any position where persuasive verbal skills, enthusiasm, and good people skills lead to success.
