about 5 years ago, i was brutally educated on
how to 'taste' chocolate. i use the word 'brutally'
because it was a non-chalant type of education.
allow me to add that previously, i don't recall
really liking chocolate all that much, but i
found it enjoyable every so often.
what brings this thread to life is the recent
easter holiday.
i just tried one of those foil-wrapped mystery chocolates.
ya know, the kind that you really wonder about
prior to eating it.
i knew it was going to be bad, but i tried it anyway.
bleck!
when will i ever learn?

Personally, the only chocolates I've ever enjoyed are the Mystery Boxes. Ya know, those different shaped nuggets in the dark wax cupcake-paper arranged in the box, and every one has a different candy or nut or nugat center. I never look at the inside top of the box (that tells you what was grabbed). There's always a chance you'll like it or hate it. A lil "chance" is cool.

here is my response to tard:
let's imagine that i am standing in a room surrounded
by thousands of those little 'mystery' chocolates.
let's also up the ante and assume that each one
was a different flavor.
no matter what chocoalte i pick...
i don't care if i walk to the far side of the room...
it will always contain coconut.
i hate them for that.

Coconut is only put in the dark chocolates (ie= Mounds). Just stick with the lighter milk-chocolate.
My faves are still those "Cherry Jubilee" nuggets; chocolate outside, but a cherry inside with a little sugar-syrup.
HHHHHMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM!!!!

Chocolate clusters are good
And I love the cherry ones as well. But I rarely eat chocolate
I remember one time not so long ago,we got an new carpet put in the den.My niece was over and always went to the kiss jar, never ate the kisses themselves but the ones with almonds..
Well my dog would love to see her come over, well all ten of them but especially my youngest niece. She would feed brandy anything
And well brandy would eat as well what was given to her..
Well this particular day was chocolate day..Thank god the dog didn't die on the amount of chocolate she consumed, but we had to get a brand new carpet...WOWA what a mess
But the look on my nieces face..WAS PRICELESS
So every time I eat a kiss, my dog always pops into my mind as well my nieces priceless look.I lost my dog a year later, but thanx to chocolate she can't be forgotten.
