Odd.. Our dog eats all the Cat food and wont touch his dog food. And the worse thing is that lil bag of cat food cost like DOUBLE what the damn big ass bag of dog food does.
choose to eat dog food??
because of the recently adopted kittens,
i have two bowls of food in two different
locations for the cats (some of you may
have seen this first hand).
but occassionally, the fucking cats will
sit at the dog food bowl and eat from it.
why???
change?
taste?
dietary needs?
ideas?

my dog would eat the cat food... but i keep the
food where she can't reach it (even the cat
bowls)
i'm going to agree with Jason here, last time i checked, cats don't read their food packaging labels to determine what kind of food is in it....it's food, they eat, they are happy.
you two are fucking lame.
its not as simple as reading fucking labels, nimrods....
its about preference.
both kinds of food are available... so why choose
the dog food?
shit... do i have to point it out?
or is it that you think you are so damned clever
that you feel justified in making such a stupid post?
Our kitten eats the dog food..because it does everything my dog does..dog eats..cat sits in empty bowl next to dog and eats with him...dog
drinks..cat drinks..dog sleeps..cat attacks dog..its a vicious circle...
No clue why they seem to like dog food..might be that they want it all..are afraid the dog is getting something they arent..hmmm...what if cats really dont like fish?????? I mean who ever proved a cat preferred fish in the first place..and have you noticed 90% of cat food is fish flavored...

that reminds me....
it reminds me of that type of dog food with
lamb, rice, carrots, peas... you know, that
stew flavored shit.
i know it comes in a crunchy food... but i've
also seen it in canned (looks like beef stew
on the picture).
there was only ONE time i ever purchased that
soft food... and my dog refused to eat it....
Tango gets 2 cups of IAM's dry food..mini chunks..its a chicken based food..he dont like beef..magine that...and he gets a half a can of IAM's chicken and liver wet food...he refuses to eat anything else..no other flavor..wont eat it dry..i tried once to only give him dry..he went almost 3 days with nothing but water..and i just could not do it to him..i know canned is bad for them...but he is one healty dog..at 60 pounds of pure muscle..i reckon he is doing just fine.. ..I worried about his teeth..they say soft food is bad for that too...but the vet has checked him out..said he has perfect teeth...he gets 2 dentabones a week..seems to keep them clean..okie..i'll shut up now..i got off track didnt i... there is nothing more to a cat eating dog food than the fact that the cat likes the smell and taste of dog food better.

also, that beef stew for dogs stuff came as a free sample to my parent's dog, and he nearly puked when he smelled it....he still won't get close to teh dish to this day
