hmmmmm....
well my mom is insane....
so the thought of animals (real or imagined)
putting suggestions in her head is prolly
more true than it sounds.

well trampis, since there are obviously no other
men available on this board to answer you, i shall.
a lap loom is a minature loom, essentially used
while sitting on the couch or something like that
(prolly good on long plane rides and shit).
looms are devices used to weave strands of thread
or yarn in order to make lengths of material
with which to make other pieces of 'uncut' utility: such as blankets, scarves, bags, and
the ever popular girl scout/mental institution
favorite -- the pot holder.
many of the older tapestries you see were made
from looms or 'looming'.
the larger the project, the larger the loom --
not to mention the more difficult to create.
the loom that my mother gave me isn't very big.
it suggests making either a wall hanging (eek!)
or a purse...
since i have yet to hear back from the loom morons,
i'm sure i am stuck with the bastard.
since i am of above-average mentality -- i've
decided that if i have to keep it, i shall
forego the 'suggested' projects and create
stuffed animals.
just because i'm cool like that

It is so true. And if you really don't think you can sell anything on ebay. Go take a look at some of the links i put up on the sticky ebay post. you can sell anything, and as TG has proven, even lap looms sell on ebay, for the very high price of 10 bucks. go for it. i would like to see how much you get for it.

hmmmmm....
i've viewed your ebay links the moment they
were posted.
i am considering an idea of great proportions:
my lap loom, tg's descriptions
with the combined effort... i may pull off
$10 like that other one!!!!

do it, do it, Do It, DO IT, DO IT!!, DO IT!!
i know you can pull something like that off, i would suggest starting out lower than 10 dollars and raising the shipping charge. i can't tell in the picture, but it looks plastic. if it is wood as is the one already sold, i feel that 8 dollars or so might be a reasonable price. just out of curiousity how much do they sell for in the first place?
