I like the american way.
I find the month much more important than what day it is.
For example, let's assume I was in a coma for a few months and I want to know what the date is. Odd's are that I wont be in a coma for several years, so its probably ok to just put the year at the end.
However I WILL need to know what month it is and I want to know that first thing so it will need to be the first thing I see. I dont care what DAY of the month it is...just the month!
8 out of 10 Comatose patients agree...Having the month first is best!
