MY BROKEN SHOELACE

as we speculate
into brighter futures
of tomorrow

when he swims
within the golden flecks
outer pond

sad sad silly silly
little blue fish
wish for me
i have travelled far
to taste your flesh

simple life
of the little blue fish
watch the stars
from beyond your reflection

you can see yourself
among the clouds

i love little crispy blue fish

so its pretty much all here... and i just came
across this poem this guy gave me once...
i thought it was pretty good... so i'm gonna
post it... exactly as it was written

SOUL MATES

the complete person
exactly the same
like wind thru chimes
dropping grains of sand
into the eternal abyss of life
on the level above

turning pages of a unknown book
watching and observing inanimate life
the shell cracks and something emerges
welcome to the world of insecurity

seasons change as time progresses
dropping from a frozen icicle
slowly warming the frozen ground
spreading life into others around
sharing. seeing
letting down and slowly comprehending

rough water over clear rapids
cascading down into a murky pool
swirling and spinning with no response
bubbling and foaming along its way
slowly meandering thru uncharted territory
continuing on its ultimate voyage

trees sway with teh gentle wind
waiting for the great gust that decides their fate
shedding their protective barrier
exposing all to the forces of nature
taking the risk of instant death
waiting for the warm sun's healing powers

my heart is in pain
when your grasp - like a crude paradox
clentched
and squeezed from me
the dripping love and agony
from which my soul spreads.
my pulsating veins
full of a tiny network of words
rushed through
my limp heart
as it contracted
and all its feeling
washed under the sidewalk.
my hardened feet
begin the journey
of misfortune
sadly before
and there's no return.
i hang within the present
as if tied to the arms of my burden
my red dry eyes
so often they've sung
with laughter in their years
but now all they do is weep
because the healer
is but dust in my eye

and they were printed in some gay publication
back when i was in the 10th grade... so umm

VANITY

shattered mirrors
engulf every part
of your piercing needle eyes
and your thin layered heart.

my daisies are your carpet
you seem to paint it red
crushing the bone and fibers
with your egotistical head.

reaching up for mercy
you melt away my cry
shooting out your fire words
your skin, cold and dry.

cerebral images fill the air
and darken out my stars
you erase the very beauty
and hang it from afar.

I finally busted out my books..... this stuff is horrible.... I wrote most of it between the ages of 10-15 and boy can I tell..... LOL... I am so embarrased....
