those are some funky dreams you have shatz... i wish i could dream like that.
one question... when you were little and you had to right little stories at school... what sort of stories did you right?
the setting for this dream was inside a department
store within a small shopping mall....
i walked around the store... lights were off but it
was still daylight... no one was there... maybe
it was closed? i'm not sure.. everything was dead
quiet... and i was walking through some clothing
store (kinda like a jcpenneys).
anyways... i fell asleep and woke up in a mound
of clothing on a display rack (like where the mannequins
stand).... it was very hard to see... and i didn't have
very good motor skills. it was the feeling like
you are in a consistant state of pre-wake...
you can see... but its not clear.. rather foggy...
and your limbs are limp... but you can make
small, deliberate movements... if you try.
anyways... so i am walking like this... and i remember
that my car was parked in an alley behind the
mall... and to get there, i had to pass through a
small utility corridor.
in the corridor are other 'kids'. it is at this point that
i realize i am myself... but its my brain in my
19 year old body... and i'm looking at these kids
in the corridor.. and they are all laying around
on the floor and hanging on the walls... and
they all seem to be like me... unable to move
other than limply...
and i struggle to reach the end.. to the exit...
to which my car is just on the other side...
and i'm going so slow... like honey... and i hear
this girl in the hall talking to some other kid...
"yeah... we took some X (some drug that i cannot
remember the name of... it was at this point in
my dream that i actually remember trying to
remember the name of the drug... and as i did
so, i remember going through the names of
traditonal drugs... searching for it...
extacy? no
lsd? no
and so on... but i could not 'find' the drug in my
brain's library. i believe the drug was called 'candy')
hahahahaha... anyways... let me continue...
it seemed like some of the kids took the drug
willingly... others were drugged... as for
me.. i do not know which one happened to me.
so she calmly says....
"yeah we took some 'candy' (which i knew was a
drug) and now we are all like this..."
and the other person says.....
"well i have to get my ass going cuz i'm going to
be late for work! i've been here for 2 days..."
and the girl laughs and says....
"2 days?? no... you've been in a coma for 6 weeks.
its the reaction to candy.. everyone has been
here in a coma for 6 weeks..."
"6 weeks??" i thought as i passed by... "surely not!"
(however.. this is dream time... and in dream time...
time itself is different and has different meanings.
6 weeks in the dream was the equivalent to 6
months...)
"and as i pushed open the exit door.. my mind
kept replaying her words... "6 weeks..." (which
meant 6 months)... and i kept thinking about
all that i missed... and wondered how life had
changed in the time i was sleeping on the rack...
and why no one seemed to notice me sleeping
there.... not that they could wake me... if, like she
said, it was a result of some drug named 'candy'...
because it seems that no one can wake from the
drug-induced coma...but only allowing for
the drug itself to wear off.
anyways... so i am thinking about all of this when
i open the door... and my car is there... and its
a black car... with a long trunk area.. rather like
a station wagon... without that station wagon
appeal
then, as i approach the car, i remember seeing
kittens in the hall with the kids... small, wet,
freshly born kittens... that were able to walk and
mew...
(they looked kinda like THIS.. but wet)
and i realized that those were my kittens... and
somehow they got inside the corridor... and i had
to get them and return them to the car...
so i went back into the corridor and started
collecting kittens... between limp legs and bodies...
and i could only carry about 2 or 3 at most...
and some kept squirming and falling out of my
arms... and i just carried as many that would
stay in my arms... out to the car and into a
wooden box that was waiting in the back (which
seemed to be there especially for the kittens).
i never got them all... nor did i manage to leave
this scene... i just kept going back to get more
kittens.. carrying a few at a time, some kept falling,
and taking them to the car... and as i put them in
the box... they kept getting out... and going
back into the hall... and i repeated this scene
over and over for about 3 times before i woke.
those are some funky dreams you have shatz... i wish i could dream like that.

i never had to compose my own stories until much
later in school. at least, i do not remember
writing anything substantial until later. the only
written assignment i recall having at an early
age was around the 3rd grade in which we had to
write a haiku. i chose to write on the color
black.. and i associated it with a panda.
lol i see your still associtating with the black and white
It's a plea for more cats! (kinda dream)

however the dream didn't leave me with a positive
sensation so i haven't bothered to really think
about it.
