So tell me shatzy, where you gonna go?
And how will your quality of life be there, as compared to here...
you won't leave, and if you did, they wouldn't care.

when i made that post, i had already realized
that there isn't a damn place on this earth
free from the clutches of all i see wrong.
however, some places are better than others.
i think the further i get from this situation,
the better. if i have to sell everything i own
(a grand totaly of $15) i'll move.
although i prefer some quaint little island,
almost as ovblivious to the shenanagens of the
politial regime as the political regime is
oblivious of their existence.
i'm thinking one of two places:
australia.... or texas

Did I hear someone say Australia?
C'mon down! Sure, we've got a bunch of dopes running the country, and they're constantly sucking up Bush's arse, but hey - who cares. Other than the GST, I don't think I've ever been affected by Australian polictics.
So yeah, come here.

Antarctica has very few people living there.
Of course, you will probably die from the "ozone hole."

Move to Sherwood. the politics there are great. In fact, I have never heard or known of anything that goes on with politics there.

In the elections held last month there was a big race for Mayor of Sherwood.
Incumbent Bill Harmon (no relation) vs. Local business man Chuck King.
Chuck had those great big campaign signs up everywhere and looked to be giving Harmon a run for his money! Things were getting hot and heavy until it finally boiled over one Tuesday afternoon.
It was an alleged scandal that could have rocked Sherwood politics as we know them today. The implications were big and the stakes where high.
It was all in the papers. The Sherwood Voice had it on the front page, and I tell you my friends, my jaw dropped when I read the news.
Chuck King and his supporters believed that Bill Harmon and his staff had tampered with the election! This was big.
I saw the headlines and just could not believe what I was reading. Chuck King's staff had noticed that SIX campaign signs had disappeared from a local area in Sherwood....and they KNEW the Harmon comittee had done it!
I almost fainted when I read the news. How could Harmon and his chronies have done such a thing?
It was a sad day in politics.
All was not so gloom, though, for good news was coming soon!
Further investigative reporting by the hard hitting staff of the Sherwood Voice made a breakthrough! They contacted the local bank where the signs had disappeared from and found out that it was all the work of a....
....BANK EMPLOYEE!
*GASP!*
Harmon was innocent!
The town of Sherwood was finally able to relax and breathe a sigh of relief now that infamous "Sherwood Sign Snapper" mystery had been solved.
Apparently the banker, fed up with the signs, decided to take them down on his own.
And so goes the news in Sherwood, Arkansas....
