while interesting and cool and all that jazz....i dont see how planning a walk around mars is a good idea at this time.

i think that Nasa should invest all of their time and money into travelling to Neopia.

    Everyone would be much happier.

i heard his speech on npr... and naturally there
was intense discussion afterwards by some people
    with a big vocabulary.

i quite agreed with one guy.
he said that bush is pushing for the wrong reasons.
(lunar space station, trips to mars, etc)
he said that while the idea has great merit...
its definitely out-of-place. we are far too
removed from the technology it would take to
make anything like that feesible in the next, oh,
    twenty years at least.

he said that bush's suggestion was selfish... in
that for years to come, bugeting will sway toward
this new goal... and the US will perish in other
down-to-earth (pun) needs... and in 50 or so years
when we have the technology to possibly THINK about
such an endeavour... there is bush reaping the
glory. (naturally he wouldn't be around.. but
    you get it)

not only that... but i sense that a lunar station
is NOT about exploration or aid to scientific
knowledge... but more of a crows nest in times
    of war.
