so i'm a'drivin' home last night from tg's
(remember... thats about 30-40 minutes of
drive time) and its foggy as hell. i bet
i could see no more than 20 feet in front
of the car...
its rather scary driving on a highway like
that... especially when the posted speed is
70 mph...
i think i was driving at about 45
for some reason, i was somewhat frightened
by this driving experience. we had bad
fog like this once in GA (which i'm sure
i've posted before)... the fog that happened
on that on night was so dense... it was like
literally a WALL of fog... much closer to
the car than tonight.
anyways... i was cautious.
my biggest fear, believe it or not, was
NOT other cars etc... but moreso of stupid
deer that may wander out....
sure its a far-fetched idea... but i'm sure
even deer cannot see in that fog... and
coulda easily wandered out on the damn
highway.
even at 45 mph, hitting a deer would not be cool.
*waits for incessant mockery*

I like fog, but generally, i'm sitting on a bicycle, so the only thing i have to watch out for is myself.
And driving slower with that weather is the smartest thing to do, even though your concern lies more with the deer than with the cars

hahahahahahahha!!!! that brought a tear to my
eye... that was so funny!
yeah... there were alot of people driving like
normal last night. but i just couldn't... i dunno
i guess i feel that there should be something
silly about hitting a deer in a dense fog...
something almost embarrassing.
so i drove slower
and jason, yes i remember the rain... but i
don't recall any fog... its prolly a good reason
you shouldn't drive at all.

i have no fear of deer on the road....when they see me tearing down the road at 90 miles an hour...with my lights blazing...my tires humming on the interstate and my big grill and winch staring straight through their small wimly frame...the just pass out and lay down flat...never bothering my truck....
damn it feels good to be driving the biggest truck on this board.
