i knotice (i'm spelling it now with a K) that you're from the netherlands. i have a great fascination for this country, and plan on visiting it sometime to just see some of the amazing architecture around. but i know not much about it so i'm asking a somewhat touristy question. if i were to spend say, a month in the netherlands, how much would i need for rent and food (ball park figure) in amsterdam/rotterdam for an averagy place and reasonable food?

well, it depends on the amount of luxury you want. Your best bet is probably a hostel. which sometimes includes breakfast, and sometimes doesn't. You'd have to eat somewhere else every evening (unless you stay in a hotel) which can get somewhat costly, if you have a cheap restaurant about 7-8 euro should cover a meal and something to drink. If you can cook yourself, you'd be able to eat for about 3-4 euro (not including breakfast or lunch, i assume you'd just buy a bread and be done for a few days).
And as far as rent goes, i have no idea, seriously.

Say soulfilms, i'd love to give some more info, but i'm going to sleep now, i've got 2 hours of sleep ahead of me, and i just coded for about 6-7 hours, so i can't think straight now.
