hmmm.... i just ran a search on his films...
the sinbad one seems familiar... but i dunno.
my dad was big on that kinda shit... and as a
kid, i loved movies with that kinda *fantasy*
animation in it (not that there was really any
good special effects in those days... like now).

I'm downloading buku offa kazaa right now, so the flash Harryhausen flick isn't gonna play. Maybe tomorrow.
My post was just to remind people that besides Superman, Batman & Spiderman, plus the glut of newbie franchise wannabes (Daredevil, Hulk, The Mummy series wants to get in on the action too), there were many lesser known superhero movies in the 80's & 90's, plus a few more current movies (Unbreakable & Darkman) which started their own comic-book origins in the movie.

Would you include SMALLVILLE in this category? It's not a movie, but the first few episodes were a very nice introduction to the 'young' Clark Kent & Lex Luthor. By the 5th episode, first season, it turns into "X-Files" for high-schoolers, but the series is picking-up again.
