Since the story needs to be told accurately, however...I guess I will post it.


Friday night Alison and myself wheel into my neighborhood to discover that Time Square had erupted on my street.
Not only were they congregated in the entire street making it virtually impossible for a car to get through, they were in my grass and loitering in my driveway.
My estimates would put it at over 100 high school kids (would you agree, shatz?). Anyways, as we settled down to watch a movie in the bed and get some shut-eye, more kept coming. The noise resonating from outside was akin to a rowdy group of Jimmy Buffet fans after missing out on a live performance of "Cheeseburger in Paradise".

So to make a long story short, we decided to have some fun. So the cops were called....

We then watched as some of North Little Rock's finest came to break up the party.

As I'm typing this, I anticipate getting some flack for "ruining their fun", etc.....so if you wanna comment on that, go right ahead.

I cant think of anymore to type. Oh yeah...the ran out of room on my street to park so they had to use a nearby church parking lot as overflow.

well i had asked tg to call the cops... and
like a dingus... he put up a fight about it...
and told them something about 'some people
congregating outside his house....' (not verbatim).

he was told that 'they' would 'send someone over'...
so we waited about 20 minutes (i think that was
the time check)....

then i decided to call... because no damned
cop came... so i called roscoe p. coltrane down
at some sherwood sub-station....

i kindly informed him that 'my' neighborhood
was being overrun by about 100 high school kids...
being loud... blocking the road... loitering...
blah blah blah....

he asked where i lived... i stated the cross streets....

he calmly verified...

*as i was standing at the window, i'm sure he
could hear the ruccus going on outside*

then i said that it looked like riverfest out here...

this got him suddenly excited in which he replied:

"really?!!?!?!?.... we'll get someone over there!"

a few minutes later.... 4 cops show up....

and usher the brats outta there....
