hmmm, I can't remember who that was almost two years ago.
I have to lose weight for my high school reunion.
AND DON'T ASK WHICH ONE!

I never make resolutions in January if I make any it's at the start of September.
The new academic year(UK) normally begins in September so it seemed like a good time to start making positive changes when I was a child and it's just continued. Plus now that I have children it's also the ideal time to start anything afresh for it's the time I get some breathing space back after the summer holidays.

I tend to assess life-type things in december, probably because the dreary winters (UK again) make u automatically think more, then have the rest of the month to think about the new years resolution.
Usually things are going well, then by around mid-may something will have happenned (usually death-related, in the previous 2 years anyway) and i will have completely forgotten about it.
Then november comes and i convince myself that i have improved my life in some way and make myself beleive that the thing i have improved on was the thing that i promised myself i would do in my new years resolution.
It makes sense if u think about it
