Give me an example of hostility by me on ADM.

If you somehow believe there is a laundry list, please do one per post.

I appreciate you taking the time to point out a possible foible of mine.

But I am proud of that post.

I stood up for something that I thought needed standing up for. When the head guy makes an announcement of things that have been fixed, and NO ONE even bothers to view it, that is not acceptable (in my opinion)

Before I posted a response to that post by Steven, the topic had like 3 or 4 views after a day and a half. And two of those were mine. I found that reprehensible.

If people can complain when things are not right, then they should also observe and "view" what is being fixed, especially when Steven takes the time to post a topic about it.

Later in that thread, I am called an idiot.

I then made a comment about Twizzle being in a drizzle...(I hope you don't find that to nasty on my part, especially when I then explained how Twizzle may have misinterpreted my post)
Twizzle than stated they had misunderstood my post, but not before I had been ridiculed by both Twizzle and Ivana much earlier in that topic post.

I am going to assume that my explanation will not change your mind in the least, but I appreciate you giving me the opportunity.

Shatzy, do that thing where you make our comments in different colors, I think it's cool!

the alternate view is that steven purchased
HB with full awareness of what needed to be done.
he is also attempted to make something better
for HB... which, again, he does in the full
knowledge of being owner.

-------------------------
I'm not sure the above actually applies to me

--------------------------

all of that aside, it is not your business who
views X thread or how many views there are.

---------------------------

There ya go, now that is a direct, to the point
poison tipped arrow. Well done! (insert clapping smiling here)

I have an answer to the above, but I will have to PM it to you.

------------------------------

this is what i was attempting to say with my post
on that thread. there is a definite problem with
(perhaps) people's idea of the admin. forum.
on other message boards, 'regular' posters are
not allowed to view/post admin. posts in the
main admin. forums. some people coming from
alternate message boards prolly figure the same
way about HB admin. forums. this is why i suggested
making a sub-line to the admin. category on the
main page.. or some links on the control panel.

----------------------
A good idea, although if Steven did that, he may have a dozen Alex's to contend with.

so?

-------------
You're right, when I am called an idiot, it's acceptable. May I have another?
-------------
perhaps it is that people are tired of seeing
you yack on in the admin. forums.

--------------

On the other hand, they did misunderstand the topic post. Why justify their position at belittling me when they were confused?

and of course, the whole "epidemic" mess must be considered. You have left out that when I saw that the "Alex epidemic" post was going to stay on Hostboard ADM page one, for up to a month, I took action. I waited 3 or 4 days, (it seemed like an eternity), and it just didn't seem right to denigrate another Hostboard member and moderator in the matter that TG did. If TG had NOT made the Alex epidemic topic post, My name would NOT have been all over ADM.

But to push it off of page one required me responding to several other posts. By the way, I answered every post in earnest, and it took me over an hour and a half. That wasn't right.

------------------------------------------

while your suggestions are not discounted or ignored,

-----------------------------------------
yes they have been. Ever since the TG epidemic topic post, ADM has ignored posts made by me.
----------------------------------------
you also provide your fair share of pressure to
1quickSI and other admin., especially about
adding new features, etc.

----------------------------

Practically every time I have a question or make a suggestion, I quantify the suggestion by saying
"I understand you may be busy, but is it a good idea, and might it be looked into at a later date".
-----------------------------

quote:

Originally posted by Super-8mm in the DigitalAge:

go ahead and assume.
i find your general sweep of the entire moderator
community inconsiderate within that thread in
particular.

-----------------
Yes it was, but it was meant as a wake-up call.

-----------------
that thread was the starter thread for your
aggressive posts on the admin. board alone...
there are other times when you use the admin.
threads to expound a topic that would best
be suited away from the admin. forum... like
with your posts on the xtianity/demon thread
(in admin.).

------------------------

I did not start the thread, and as you may have noticed, today, two very brilliant and my two new best friends supported my position on the matter.
And my point in bringing it up was to make it as an example to NOT bring that kind of stuff to ADM.

Can't you even give me credit for cutting through the I'm a Christian pretense that started the whole topic??? You of all people, sheesh.

---------------------------------

as you know, 1quickSI has closed many threads
that have gotten off topic... and instigating
further 'off topic' query is just redundant.
you should have posted your question to gary
on his own board... or invited him to view a
subsequent thread on yours.

*******

-----------------

An interesting point you bring up, however..(doh!!!) perhaps I'm being a rabid dog, but I think I brought out to the light that that topic was inappropriate. Instead of just saying it was inappropriate, I think I gave a rational reason why.

It was disinguenous, although I don't in any way put that label on xGaryx, he was trying to make a point. I suppose if he had just said, If I were Christian....

But he didn't, and I wasn't swift enough to figure out what was bugging me about the topic post.
But I think a lot of good information was exchanged. Separation of Church and State, separation of main page and forum...come on, that's good, on topic stuff!

------------------

when i made the comment that your posts have
been seemingly more hostile, i was not only
referring to admin. however, i have said enough
on this post and wish it to end for now.

-----------------

Please make a separate topic on that, because I think you may not be correct in that assessment either.

-------------------

as i tried to say on the DEMON thread here in DT,
most of the time, i think your perspective of
a particular post someone makes is a bit off.
you shouldn't always think that people are always
being negative with you.

----------------------

Now that cow can't fly. Blazey just came in out of nowhere, and even after I explained what I meant by the word trumpeted and wow, she didn't even take a moment to respond.

How come earlier you agreed that I was getting some flak from others, now you are saying I am imagining it?

-----------------------

speaking as someone that is familiar with you
and your posts... your recent posts (past week)
have been really intense and you seem completely
high-strung.

-----------------------

In fact, I have left nice posts all over Hostboard, on the Minnesota Youth in Government, in the Herb and Tea forum, Demons and Hellfire..etc...

---------------------------

you should relax and view a post a few times
in different perspectives before responding...
if a post warrants a response at all after some
reflection.

--------------------------

sigh. All I can say is you are right, and you are wrong. And you completely ignore any **** that comes unto me from others.

I am still in shock by Blazey, yet you act as if it was completely normal, the way she just blazed in, set a fire, and left.

That was tiring.

If I don't respond anymore tonight it's because I need to get a big project finished.

alex,
while i do not mind editing a post so that
readers can distinguish your reply from my
original post, i do not like the way you do that.

my post is chopped up... and what is worse,
my post is chopped up badly... based on how
you read it. its not fair to do to my words.

next time, i'd appreciate you leaving my original
post and c/p (copy/pasting) an additional copy
with which you reply to in that manner. after that,
i can go in and format the replies based on
html if you want... but please, don't do any
more of that.

this is what i was attempting to say with my post
on that thread. there is a definite problem
with (perhaps) people's idea of the admin. forum.
on other message boards, 'regular' posters are
not allowed to view/post admin. posts in the
main admin. forums. some people coming from
alternate message boards prolly figure the same
way about HB admin. forums. this is why i suggested
making a sub-line to the admin. category on the
