I signed up for their spam. It is GOOD spam, only comes two-three times per year, it is funny and usually announces huge price breaks only for those who have signed up for their spam. The last note I got was in late February to announce that the first day of March the site would be open only to people who had the correct sign in (Name: New Password: Lexus) and that there would be very low prices on their best selling items. Then they taunted people who had just paid full price for stuff.

I printed up the "potential" poster and hung it with the magnetic name tag of the guy who sits one cube over.

Below a picture of a carton of french fries, the tag line says, "Not everyone grows up to be an astronaut".

I am so naughty.

I worked for St. Paul insurance and everything you can envision about corporate America (as satirized in Dilbert and "Office Space") fit them to a T. When you went to their corporate HQ, the walls were decorated with all those motivational pictures. And I'll admit, many of them do contain beautiful pictures and clever sayings (I especially remember the sailboat which said "we can't control the wind, but we can control the direction of our sails").

OK fine. And then I'll never forget the first time I was the despair pictures, and almost busted my fat gut. Almost all of them are home runs. I have two on my walls (OK they were printed a cut, not purchased from the company, so sue me). And as funny as they all are, the reason they are funny is that they are true.
