Actually, when Lincoln seized the property to make the cemetery, if it had been me I would have had the mansion burned to the ground.

Jumper,
Since you're a bad biker dude now, consider this your official invitation to to join the Ohio Veterans River Run on June 23.

Ride starts at Aces & Eights in Mason ($10 single/$15 double) with kick stands up at 12:00. Ride ends at Rivertime Canoe in Morrow where Rolling Thunder Chapter 9-OH is putting on a festival. All funds raised go to support veterans and veteran issues.

The rest of you are invited, too.

I'm not knocking what Gae and Trav do with their biker projects, because I do respect that they get involved in it, but the one thing that's missing from their act is more stunt work. I know that they wear their leather and denim and all that, but the fact is, anyone who was a kid in the late 70s (as I was) knows that the only true motorcycle uniform is all white with blue & red stripes and stars.

In other words, I'm all for Gae and Trav roadie-ing east to Washington, D.C. for some rolling thunder action, but would it hurt them to stop at King's Island en route and jump 14 Greyhounds?

Lewbabe,

You'll be able to find me either place -- I'll be the one in the Rolling Thunder vest. Please wear those really cute plaid shorts and the pink shirt, OK?

Hey! Anyone want to take a $10.00 chance on a mini-chopper? Only 300 tickets will be sold, and it will be on display this Saturday at (HEY LEW!!!!!) Railroad Days in Morrow, and again next weekend at Rivertime. The drawing will be at the Hill Climb in October.

Since you brought up stunt work, props go to Trav for keeping us alive on I-75. There was the moron who was driving a rental truck and hauling a car, who decided to change lanes while dialing his cell phone. Hello shoulder! And then there was the major moron who was cruising down 75 at 80 mph with a magazine propped on his steering wheel. Gotta a love it.

LewBaby, buy a bike and see the world.
