It's 86*, sunny and breezy here today. Can't wait for 5:00 to get outside... [img]cool.gif[/img] Although by 5:00pm there isn't much daylight left, evenings lately have been superb.

86 degrees is too warm for me anymore. I sweat like a pig. I look forward to playing flag football in the 60 degree weather this weekend, underneath those moody autumn skies.

Being a pure bred Celtic warrior, I hate the sun, makes me go all red, and wierd in the head. Autumn and winter for me, A lovely fresh frosty morning, Makes you glad to be alive, On the other hand my Mrs loves the sun so holiday times are a bone of contension.
I am enjoying this autumn tremendously. We had a few cool nights a few weeks ago to brighten up the leaves and now we have wonderful afternoon weather in the 60s and low 70s. Not being able to work longer the 30 minutes at a time and being under doctor?s orders to walk for exercise I have been making use of Mount Airy Forest.
Normally I am too busy to get outside during the day (ether work or home projects) during the fall so even with the damn surgery, this year may be the best fall since I moved here.
<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">Haha, after the summer we have had here, 86* is "cool"... It got hot in May (90+) and didn't let up until Wilma came thru and the first cold front made its way down a couple of weeks ago. Nice to not be running the heat in November, even if it's only for a few days [img]graemlins/thumbs_up.gif[/img]
It's a little chillier this morning, but it's gonna be in the mid 50's later.
Still, weather for November hasnt been too bad so far. Actually very very mild.
Looks like it is going to be perfect here for the next week at least. Starting tomorrow the temps are supposed to be in the low 80s for the highs and low 60s for the lows. Now that's ideal weather to me. I won't need to run the A/C during the day for the dogs, and under the blankets with the bedroom window open all night it's quite good sleeping weather. Have had to run the A/C again during the day this week just to be on the safe side and by the time I get home between 5:15 -5:30 it's cool enough to turn it off and open the windows. I hate being in a closed up room with artificial air.
Hope you all have a mild winter this year, power companies made enough on everyone with the extra hot summer...
