Gail, The distance form Victoria station to Hertford is 31 ish miles 1 hr 30 mins tops.
The rail link I gave you says journey time of 1hr 25 min.
Did you go Via Scotland [img]biggrin.gif[/img]

LOL, yes and no. I have a computer at home now but not on-line yet. I am at a neighbor's place just about every evening and use her computer.

I'm up to 20 days paid vacation, though I've worked for my company 10.5 years. Started off with 10 days.

Holidays? New Years Day, Memorial Day, July 4, Labor Day, a half day before Thanksgiving, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and my choice of two of the three of the following: the day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, New Year's Eve.

By my count, that's a total of 28.5 days.

My company is not nearly as generous as Dulcinea's, but then...she's special.
