Hey, TBSexy, that 'guy' who phoned me knows nothing more than he did last week. I've been assured that he will phone when when he knows more. And I will then phone you.

    Gae,

Please keep us in the loop when the "guy" calls you.

Count us in for potluck...we can bring peach pie for dessert or a green chinese salad or both. Or something else if there is a theme...

I'm just trying to figure out how someone can go missing for, what - 7...8...9 days - and no one checked up on her during that period of time, even when her children apparently called her.

How can that be when those who matter live so close and work within the same building?

    How can that be?

    I'm sorry, I promised I'd shut up...but I just don't get it.

There could be lots of reasons why folks didn't follow up to see what happened to Dulc. Some may have wanted to respect her privacy, some probably didn't even realize she was missing since she was in a new dept and not really known yet. Some people are too involved with their own life that they don't have time for others. Some people just don't like to get involved. Some probably thought everything was fine and she just needed some time off. It is really hard to say/know...

The whole thing about her kids calling is another story. Their dad should have followed up...unless he is too bitter with what happened with the divorse to care...or like we talked about...

I really dont involve myself in the lives of my coworkers so I can see how that would happen very easily. Gotta agree with the kids and family not noticing being a bit puzzling. We'll probably never know so I guess it will just remain a question. They are going through enough right now after losing their mom.
